Only you or an authorized agent as authorized by State Privacy Laws may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.

15. Stay Redwoods Privacy Policy
STAY REDWOODS COOKIE POLICY
Like almost all commercial websites, Stay Redwoods’ websites use cookies to improve the functionality of our websites and streamline your user experience. You may delete and block all cookies from the sites, but parts of the sites may not work correctly (or at all). Even if you are only browsing the sites, certain information about your visit may be automatically collected. This information includes information about the platform and operating system you are using, your browser type and version, computer and connection information, and what time you accessed the sites. Unless you opt out, this information may be collected every time you access Stay Redwoods’ websites.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is placed in your browser to allow a website to recognize your browser or device. Cookies are used for many purposes, such as enabling certain site functionality, storing user preferences, permitting analytics, and enabling ad delivery. Cookies can help us understand how visitors use our site, help you navigate between pages efficiently, help remember your preferences for later visits, and generally improve your browsing experience. Cookies can also help ensure that marketing you see online is relevant to you and your interests.
The length of time a cookie will stay on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “session” or “persistent” cookie. A session cookie will only remain on your device until you close your browser. A persistent cookie will remain until it expires or is deleted. Each persistent cookie has an expiration date; some cookies may expire after a few minutes while others may not expire for several years.
What types of cookies does Stay Redwoods use?
When you visit and use a Stay Redwoods website, Stay Redwoods or a third party may place a number of cookies in your browser. Some cookies will only be used if you use certain features or select certain preferences, and some cookies will always be used. Cookies placed by the website you’re visiting (in this case, a Stay Redwoods site) are sometimes called “first-party cookies,” while cookies placed by other companies are sometimes called “third-party cookies.”
In general, there are four different types of cookies, which are explained below. Stay Redwoods routinely uses all four types of cookies.
Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.
Performance Cookies. These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site, and will not be able to monitor its performance.
Functional Cookies. These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly.
Targeting Cookies. These cookies may be set through our site by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other sites. They do not store directly personal information, but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.
How can you manage and delete cookies?
Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can change the settings in your browser to delete cookies that have already been set and to not accept new cookies. Note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, you may not be able to access certain parts of the Stay Redwoods sites and some services we offer may not work properly or at all.

Do you use any other user tracking technologies?
Stay Redwoods may use other technology that is standard to the Internet, such as pixel tags, web beacons, and other similar technologies, to track visitors to our sites.
Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) and Do Not Track.
You may choose to use a tool to communicate your choices through an opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) on your browser or device, if available. Stay Redwoods honors GPC signals as a request to opt-out of the sharing or sale of personal information for purposes of targeted advertising on our website.
Stay Redwoods does not respond to legacy browser settings or signals such as “Do Not Track.”

If we deny your request in whole or in part, you may appeal that decision by contacting [email protected] with the subject line “Health Data Privacy Rights Appeal”. If you are a resident of Washington and your appeal is denied, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
